Radian Group Inc. is a global credit risk management company headquartered in Philadelphia with significant operations in New York and London.  Radian Guaranty, a subsidiary which specializes in mortgage insurance, acquired several related businesses in the Dayton, Ohio area in order to supplement their own market strength.  These businesses were housed in a variety of inadequate and inconsistent facilities.  In order to take full advantage of the efficiencies of standardization and bringing staff together, Radian engaged Space Design Incorporated to design a new building which was adjacent to their newly created Data Center- also designed by Space Design Incorporated.

Since the majority of building users were to be located in open workstations, the floor plate is large (41,000 square feet), with few columns and optimal dimensions for open planning.  Although this is a single-user facility, it is designed to be subdivided into a multi-tenant building, should the need arise.
