Based on Peat Marwick's increase of suburban clients, their management consulting and tax departments required the relocation of professional staff, as well as general administrative functions, in order to achieve greater accessibility to their clients. Space Design Incorporated was engaged to assist in an evaluation of which departments and administrative functions should be consolidated in suburban Philadelphia leased space and which should remain in their Philadelphia headquarters. Additionally, due to changes in the tax laws and an increased demand for management consulting seminars, a regional meeting facility was required to provide for audio/visual presentations. In this Building Analysis process, Space Design Incorporated assisted Peat Marwick in the evaluation of nearly twenty buildings located on the King of Prussia/Route 202 corridor. Ultimately,

Space Design Incorporated prepared test-fit comparative space plans for a total of four buildings and based on local amenities such as hotel facilities, easy access to Route 202, optimum floor planning efficiencies and a favorable rental rate, Peat Marwick selected Valleybrook II, Malvern, PA for their suburban office location.
