When Colonial Mortgage Service Company, now GMAC Mortgage, elected to relocate their corporate headquarters from suburban Elkins Park, to the PNB Building in Philadelphia, Space Design Incorporated was selected to provide full interior architectural design services.

Working directly with President A.C. Splendido, a decision was made to demolish the inefficient original floor which consisted of a center corridor and separate office suites. The resulting design was contemporary, yet respectful of CMSC’s long history of serving their mortgage clients.
