A prototype retail store with inventory ranging in scale from monumental to tiny, this first store is approximately 6500 square feet. The client needed the flexibility to showcase large exterior “Swing-sets of the 90’s” during spring and summer seasons and feature smaller scale toys during fall and winter. The challenge became how to architecturally treat the large blank walls around the perimeter of the store and the 14-foot ceilings from the perspective of a child. Colorful banners, applied laminate circles and custom millwork displays transform this simple space into a bright and cheerful environment.
